Such an air of quality when you’re in the presence of a Bentley Continental GT 😍

This particular car was one of a returning clients collection and was in for an Enhancement Detail and Carpro UK Cquartz Paint Protection package. The wheels were removed, deep cleaned and coated along with the brake calipers. The front brake disc bells were polished and rear brake hubs were sanded back and refreshed in silver. Finally all glass was treated with a rain repellency aid and the interior was given a freshen up.

This daily driver now looking the part and easy to maintain and wash for years to come!

Another overdue update!

2018 Porsche Cayenne given a total freshen up after a 2 stage paint correction and ceramic coating protection with Carpro UK Cquartz Professional. 2-3 years of super slick and glossy paint protection with a 2 year manufacturer warranty.

The wheels on the car were also removed, deep cleaned and coated with DLUX heat resistant coating and Calipers refreshed in gloss black with white Porsche logos.

Toyota Yaris GR Circuit Pack given a great start in life with a Carpro UK Cquartz New Car Protection Detail. The ‘Precious Black’ now really popping after a single stage machine polish to remove some slight wash marring and light defects, improving gloss on the paint in preparation for the application of Cquartz to the paintwork.

The wheels were removed and coated along with the brake Calipers with DLUX for easy maintenance and cleaning going forward. The glass was also treated to a rain repellency aid.

Continuing on with the Santorini Black theme…

This Range Rover Vogue was in for a bit of an overhaul. A 2 stage paint correction was carried out to totally transform the paintwork, removing 90% of paint defects releasing gloss and clarity back into this stunning colour. The paint was then protected with Carpro UK Cquartz for upto 18 months paint protection and as standard the wheel faces were coated with DLUX and all glass treated with a rain repellency aid.

The front and rear ‘Range Rover’ badges were also replaced with fresh gloss black items and any paint chips touched in.

Now looking years younger with bags of gloss and very easy to wash and maintain going forward.

There’s nothing better than a well sorted Defender 😍
This 2015 model was in for an Enhancement Detail and Carpro UK Cquartz Ceramic Coating package. Santorini Black can be a very tricky colour to work with at times as it is super soft, but the results are stunning when the right polishing combination is used - such an interesting colour that really pops when under light.

As standard with any Cquartz package the wheel faces were coated with DLUX and the glass was treated with a rain repellency aid. The ‘Defender’ badge on the bonnet was also replaced with a black item for a cleaner more stealthy look.

Another well overdue post!

This Ford Ranger Thunder was in for a Carpro UK CQuartz Professional New Car Protection Detail. After some spot corrections to the paint to remove some factory induced sanding marks and machine polishing holograms, the whole truck received single stage gloss enhancing machine polish in preparation for the application of the Cquartz Professional paintwork protection.

The wheel faces were coated with DLUX to aid cleaning in the future and the glass was treated with a rain repellency aid.

Now protected, super slick and glossy for 2-3 years and looking better than when it came from the factory. Do love a good pick up 😍

Long time no post! I’m seriously behind with my social media these days. Been really humbled with how busy I’ve been over the past few months especially considering the state the world is in at the moment.

This Vw Caravelle for Great Scottish Tours was in for a total new car protection package which also included partial front end PremiumShield UK Paint Protection Film and also bulk/custom fitted lower doors and sills. Now protected against stone chips and road rash when this executive tourer can transport tourists around Scotland.

Another well overdue post!

This Shadow Black Ford Transit was in a couple of months ago for a total refresh. A 2 stage paint correction was carried out on the super soft and challenging to polish paint to remove the vast majority of paint defects, boosting gloss and clarity before finishing and protection all exterior surfaces with Carpro UK Cquartz ceramic coatings.

Now super glossy, slick and easy to maintain. There’s something about a well spec’d Transit you’ve got to love!

A returning customer with his brand new Tesla Model 3 Dual Motor decided to give this particular car the best start in life.

After some spot corrections to localised sanding marks on the paintwork and a single stage gloss enhancing machine polish, the car was given the PremiumShield UK treatment with the installation of paint protection film to the full front bumper, partial front wings and bonnet, lower doors and sills and also the rear bumper deck - protecting the paintwork on these high impact areas from stone chips and excessive wear and tear.

The paintwork was then coated with Carpro UK CQuartz Professional, wheels and calipers with DLUX and the glass with a rain repellency aid.

The 'Stage 2 Correction Detail' is perfect for any vehicle starting to show signs of age and heavier swirling due to previous poor contact and wash techniques.

Two main polishing stages are undertaken during this detail with the aim of achieving 75-80% correction. The 'Enhancement Detail' is the entry level in 'Paint Correction' and is perfectly suited to the individual who is new to detailing or would like their cars paintwork condition given a 'freshen up'

Unsightly 'swirl marks', scratches and wash marring can make a vehicles paintwork appear dull and weathered looking with no apparent lustre or gloss.

The aim of the 'Enhancement Detail' is to remove the worst of the light swirls and marring promoting gloss levels and restoring some clarity to your vehicles paintwork.

Once the correction work has been carried out, the vehicle is protected with a high quality wax as standard. There is also the option to upgrade to other forms of protection such as synthetic paint sealants or ceramic coatings for example.

Even though your newly acquired vehicle is straight out the box from the dealership, unfortunately it’s condition will more than likely not be the flawless ‘brand new’ condition you’d expect it to be in. Dealership preparation and the optional application of paintwork protection packages (such as DiamondBrite, Supaguard and LifeShine) is usually rushed and applied incorrectly and can potentially damage your new vehicles paintwork.

Whether its a supermini, a van or high end sports car - it’s paintwork and other surfaces are likely to have picked up during the manufacturing, storage, transportation or dealership preparation stages the likes of: acid etchings, machine polishing buffer trails, sanding marks, light scratches and wash marring. These visual defects can take away from the whole experience of collecting a new car so this package has been created to rectify these problems and to also protect the vehicles surfaces with up to date ceramic and nano coatings which boast true longevity for up to 3 years (depending on options chosen)

Carrying on with the black car theme... This stealthy Ford Kuga ST Line was in for an Enhancement Detail Carpro UK CQuartz coatings.

The glass was also treated with a hydrophobic rain repellency aid. We opted not to coat the wheels as they required refurbishment and this is something the owner is going to organise with Peak Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Dundee in the Spring.

Ford paint can be proper tricky to perfect with it being so sticky and soft but with the right polishing combination can yield stunning results.

I do love a well spec’d VW Golf.

This cracking 6 month old VW Golf R was in for a Carpro UK Enhancement Detail to remove light defects and scratches from the paintwork and improve the gloss levels. The car was an ex demo and it was apparent it had been brush washed in the past 😫.

After a few spot corrections to remove some isolate deeper paint defects, the car then received a single stage machine polish to remove the lighter paint defects and improve gloss levels.

The wheels were removed and deep cleaned along with the wheel arches and the wheels were ceramic coated inside and out for easier maintenance and cleaning going forward. The brake disc bells/hubs were also prepped and painted silver to remove unsightly rust that was forming.

Now protected for up to 2 years with the correct maintenance with the added bonus of stunning gloss levels.

Long time no post (again...) Still have some completed work to post from the tail end of 2020.

This recently purchased 2014 Audi RS6 was in for an overhaul to get it back into tip top shape. The front bumper was removed and sent away to the bodyshop along with the rear exhaust tips to be repaired and refinished. The car received a 2 stage paint correction before the front end of the car had a PremiumShield partial front end PPF installation to protect the paintwork from future stone chips and gravel rash.

The wheels were removed and deep cleaned along with the brake calipers and bells and the interior was spruced up also. Al exterior surfaces of the car were then coated with respective Carpro UK CQuartz Ceramic Coatings.

Sepang Blue is such a stunning colour and suits the RS6 so much.

Well what a weird old year 2020 has been 🤷🏼‍♂️. Many ups and also it’s fair share of downs but I’m very grateful to still be in business 😃.

Some exciting plans in the pipeline for 2021 - here’s hoping for a smoother year. Usually I finish up on Christmas Eve and make the time to give my van a well needed clean... but it’s too cold today so I’ve broken that tradition this year. Now to wrap some presents, put my feet up and have a couple of drinks 🍻

I hope my friends, family, clients and followers all have a fantastic Christmas and New Year and get to spend some time with their loved ones. This year has probably taught a lot of us to not take many things for granted so cherish these moments while you can.

Possibly one of the best colours combinations going for a Mini Cooper S?

This John Cooper Works model in British Racing Green was in for an Enhancement Detail to remove some light swirls and wear and tear scratches after 3 years of daily use.

The wheels were also sent to Peak Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Dundee for a flawless Diamond Cut refurbishment back to original condition. Scratches from the rear bumper from loading items into the boot were polished out and Paint Protection Film was installed to stop scratching the paint in the future. Every surface of the car was then protected with Carpro UK CQuartz Ceramic Coatings for up to 18months protection from the elements and easy maintenance going forward.

Nice turnaround on this car and now looking as good as it was when new.
